1. You may hardly experience any pain , swelling and bleeding after the procedure.
   
2. Generally no medications are prescribed . If there is any discomfort , which is again a rare possibility , any suitable pain-killer can be taken by the patient .
   
3. Do not brush teeth too vigorously for a day .
4. No restrictions on food except that spicy food should be avoided for 4-5 days after the procedure .
5. The tissues appear whitish , at the site of healing, after the laser procedure which sometimes patient can mistake for pus . However , that,s the way laser treated gum tissue heals as it never bleeds during the procedure as opposed to the conventional scalpel and blade surgery where the tissues appear pink post surgically .
